Jan 24, 2018· Flamme Rouge is best with 4 players, though it works very well with 3. Two players is fine – but you really need more riders on the track to get the full feel of the game. The Peloton expansion was released last month at Essen and it adds the ability to play with 5 or 6 players… something I'm looking forward to greatly.
Games like Azul (expensive filler), Acquire (2010 vs 2017 version), or El Grande BigBox and Container Jumbo (unecssarily expansive) are my top of mind, but i am sure better examples can be provided. With the "Kickstarter culture", fancy wrapping is sadly becoming increasingly important, at the cost of games people are being able to aquire.
