Aloha, fellow board game geeks! I have recently played Tyrants of the Underdark for the first (and second) time and have found myself totally hooked. I haven't been this hooked since I first discovered Werewolf and its social deduction game kin.
Ive had a couple of games back to back where a player gets lucky and gets a couple of good cards from the market and then he just goes to town. Like for example, a few good promoters or an 8 cost. I just dont think Tyrants is super well balanced.

A Quick Review of Tyrants of the Underdark: Tyrants of the Underdark mixes some familiar mechanics to create a very fun game. I know some other games have used similar mechanics but I think game does it better. It is a simple and elegant design that still makes sense with the theme. The components for the game are good.
